On March 23, 2018, I took over ownership of Vermont Moms, which was formed in 2012. As I near my 7th year of ownership, it’s fun to look back at how far we’ve come. From a mom’s blog to a multimedia presence, Vermont Moms currently has 26 writers, 4 podcasts, a book club, and a newsletter, and we’ve stepped back into running the fantastic events you remember from pre-Covid days. We juggle a lot, and that’s an understatement.
Vermont Moms shares unique, original stories of motherhood, Vermont life, and issues that impact us all.
We are a trusted authority on all things Vermont and offer wry, introspective, sometimes heartbreaking, and often hilarious views into motherhood in the Green Mountain State. We have broadened our scope too, including various dad writers, and bringing a teen onto our team of contributing writers. Truly, we seek to share an array of voices that best represent Vermont and motherhood. We have leaned into sharing our writing team’s expert voices on relevant topics too, taking advantage of the fact that we have doctors, a professor, a cybersecurity expert, a mechanical engineer, a chef, and more among our numbers!
We fact-check, cite sources, and dig deep to provide you with accurate, responsible, and conscientious information.
This year’s most popular posts show our team’s tremendous expertise, compassion, and sense of humor.
This year’s top articles contain stories that will enlighten you, perspectives that make you laugh, and our writers’ vast expertise.
