Photos with Santa Event Recap!

Vermont Mom was delighted to host our first in-person event in over two years last weekend in Essex. Our heartwarming and inspiring Photos with Santa event would not have been possible without the generous help of our sponsor, Burlington Telecom.

Burlington Telecom provides top-notch business and residential services including television, phone, and Internet. Their television offerings depend on service location and include cable television and Smarter TV, their cord-cutting streaming option that you can customize to fit your needs and budget. Their locally-based crew invests their time and expertise in making local communications offerings faster, more reliable, and more competitively priced. They’re always ready to help troubleshoot problems when they (infrequently) arise and to provide technical support to their customers. Additionally, Burlington Telecom is a fantastic community partner and is committed to supporting events like ours.

Check out this map to find out if Burlington Telecom has reached your neighborhood. If they haven’t yet, please let them know where they’re most needed.

Everyone at Photos with Santa enjoyed getting to know Dakota and Ryan, the Burlington Telecom technicians who attended our event to answer questions and help out. Santa was a huge fan of these guys and honestly, they are way too sweet to be on his naughty list, no matter what Santa says.

technicians from Burlington TelecomFriends, two years without in-person events is way too long! I can’t begin to tell you how excited the Vermont Mom team and I were to see our Vermont families again! We’ve missed you!

Your smiling faces made this event as special to us as it was for you. It was a precious gift to see your little ones interacting with Santa- some of them for the very first time. It’s truly an experience that can’t be missed.

Every person attending our Photos with Santa event received a minimum of two digital images from Vermont’s own three-time Best Photographer, Hillary Dubie, with the option to purchase more from her directly. I can say without any doubt that no photographer with her skill and following offers photos at the price she gave our attendees. Hillary has a gift for capturing the sweetest and most precious moments while maintaining crystal-clear simplicity. If you know, you know. Her warmth is palpable in all of the images she captures.

Attendees also received a candy cane, an ornament, and a pencil from Vermont Mom. Each child got a delicious, foam-art-decorated hot chocolate from Uncommon Coffee.

We make a great team, don’t you think?

Santa holding two bags of Uncommon Coffee coffee beansUncommon Coffee’s vaulted ceilings, wood-paneled walls, and the rich scent of roasting coffee beans provided the perfect backdrop for our Photos with Santa event. The atmosphere of magical solemnity was never more apparent than when kids gathered in hushed wonder to meet the big man himself. Watching their eyes widen with pure joy when they saw Santa was just what we all needed. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season and we loved every single minute.

Last, but absolutely not least, we have to give all our love to Santa, who brought absolute magic to so many people on Sunday. Our event would not have been the same without him and we are grateful that he was able to take time away from the North Pole during this extremely busy time of year.

It was truly a magical day for everyone. And our families say it best:

Thank you to all of our Photos with Santa event partners, volunteers, and all of the families who spent this wonderful time with us. We appreciate your support and look forward to hosting you at our next event. Stay warm, stay healthy, and have a wonderful winter break.

Please enjoy some assorted images from our day, thanks to Hillary Dubie.
