“Where did you get that incredible vintage shirt?”

“From Where!”

“Yeah, I asked you where did you get that shirt?”

“From Where!”

I can hear it now, playing out like Abbott and Costello’s famous “Who’s on First” routine. But Where Clothes are anything but routine. Rather they are classic and unique. How so? Let me tell you.

Amy Wild began Where as a line of screen prints back in 2009, but quickly became frustrated with the lack of sustainable, sweatshop free, ready made clothes to print on. So she found a vintage sewing machine, taught herself how to sew, and whenever possible, reused old fabrics to create new garments. Not only would this save these fabrics from ending up in a landfill, but in her own small way, would help cut down on demand for new fabrics to be made.

Where focuses on the environment and humanity as well as the art of hand made clothing. When you buy Where, you are not supporting fabric mill pollution and unfair labor. Each item in Amy’s clothing line is made with love and care, paying attention to detail and giving each item a story to tell. Everything is a one of a kind, making each outfit completely unique.

Earth friendly fashion with a global mission. Where Clothes sets itself apart in an industry where cookie cutter is the norm.

And Where can you find Where? Ha, now we’re back to that funny little play on words. Check out Amy’s website, shop in her online Etsy store, or find her clothes at local Burlington retailers.
