Exercise At Home!

1

We all know that exercise is an important part of staying healthy.

However, it often gets pushed to the bottom of the list of priorities when a busy mom is trying to take care of her family. While gyms are great places to work out, I can never seem to get myself there. That’s why I gave up on the gym membership and started working out at home instead. I love it because I don’t have to go drive anywhere, I can wear whatever I want without shame, and I don’t need to find childcare for my children. I also enjoy free things and this is no exception. Here are some of my favorite places to get a free workout online. With such a great variety, there is sure to be something for every level of fitness!

Jessica Smith TV

Jessica Smith’s workouts are my absolute favorite. If you check out her YouTube channel, you will find a huge variety of workouts. Some are easier and some more difficult and they vary in length so that you can always find one to fit your schedule. Jessica is a certified wellness coach, fitness instructor, and personal trainer, so she knows what she is talking about, yet she still comes across as friendly and down to earth. She often has modifications in her videos to keep moves low-impact if needed. Jessica includes upbeat music with her workouts and I always have fun with them, even if I am working my butt off. As a bonus, her cute dog Peanut often makes an appearance in her videos.

Fitness Blender

Fitness Blender was created by a husband and wife team of personal trainers. I like their workouts because they challenge me and make me feel like I am using my time effectively. Fitness Blender has a ton of videos on their YouTube channel so that you will never get bored with doing the same workout over and over again. Some of their videos include a warm-up and a cool-down while others don’t, but they will always remind you to do one on your own if they are not included. They don’t use any music in their videos so that you can play your own favorite tracks in the background. I always enjoy picking whatever music suits my mood on any particular day.

BeFiT

BeFiT offers a wide variety of workout videos from famous fitness trainers, such as Jillian Michaels, Denise Austin, and Jane Fonda. This is a great way to try out workouts from different people and see which ones you like before committing to purchasing any of their products. These workouts range from under 10 minutes to over an hour, so you can pick what works best for your schedule. The only downside is that there are so many options that it can be hard to choose which one you want.

POPSUGAR Fitness

The POPSUGAR Fitness website offers a variety of articles on health topics, such as weight loss and healthy living. They have a wide variety of videos on their YouTube channel, with a convenient list of workouts in different lengths, such as 10-minute and 20-minute workouts. They are constantly adding new routines, which is a great way to change things up and avoid boredom from the same old routines all the time. They also use a variety of different trainers to keep things interesting.

GymRa

GymRa is another site that offers lots of workout choices. They have library with over 500 different videos and they upload four new ones every week. With different lengths and intensities, they have routines to cater to every level of fitness. The videos are conveniently sorted to help you find exactly what you are looking for, such as yoga or a routine that doesn’t require any equipment.

Joanna Soh

Joanna Soh is a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. She focuses on fitness, food, and faith in an effort to help people lead a healthy life. On her YouTube channel, she includes both workouts and nutrition advice. Joanna adds new videos twice a week. She has a variety of workout videos on her site. In particular, there are a lot of shorter workout options for those busy days when you don’t have a lot of time, but still want to squeeze in a workout.

I hope that some of these workouts inspire you to keep in shape! These are just a few of my favorite options among the many free workouts available. What are your favorites?
