Fall Festival @ Dog Mountain
It’s the most beautiful time of the year in New England, and it’s time once again to celebrate the season at Dog Mountain’s annual Fall Dog Party!
There will be a host of activities for the whole family, from foot-tapping live music by Vermont folk duo The Endorsements, to a bounce house for the kids, door prizes, food, dog contests, and more.
We hope you can take the time to grab your camera, hop in the car, and take the scenic ride to leaf-romping, four-legged fun and smiles at Dog Mountain. Your dogs will thank you with many wags of their tail and wet kisses.
The Fall Dog Party 2014 is free to the public and will be held rain or shine

30th Annual Harvest Weekend Featured at Billings Farm & Museum
This Harvest weekend with features a traditional husking bee each day at noon, followed by a barn dance from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Kids can lend a hand pressing cider, preserving apples, and making butter and ice cream. Children can also help harvest the heirloom vegetable garden which will be nearing completion. Kids can dig potatoes and other root crops to see how the crops are being “put up” for the winter.
Other activities include:
- shelling corn and beans
- fence building
- apples-on-a-string
- and 19th century games.
Hot-spiced cider and homemade doughnuts will be on hand for all!
Farm & Museum Admission includes all programs and activities.
Cost: adults: $14.00 | 62 and over: $13.00 | children 5-15: $8.00 | 3-4: $4.00 | under 3: free.

Sam Mazza’s Harvest Festival
When the leaves start turning everyone at Mazza’s celebrates fall and the wonderful experiences that this season brings by holding their annual Fall Festival. It is a great family experience. The festival offers lots of on-grounds entertainment. Take a Hay Ride to the Pumpkin Fields to Pick Your Own. Enjoy Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Donuts, Pumpkin Fudge, our own Apple Pies & Cider. Children will enjoy Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, Face Painting, Fall Games & the famous Corn Maze. WVMT Radio Personality Charlie Papillo is Master of Ceremonies all day.
