The day begins at 9:45am at Mini Spa VT If you haven’t been to Mini Spa VT yet…you should!  They are famous for their feet but they are so much more.  They are a full service spa offering everything from facials to waxing to massage and a lot in between.  There our winner will receive a facial from their REN skincare line.  REN’s philosophy can be summed up in 3 words: performance, purity and pleasure.  With groundbreaking product formulas, they use only 100% plant and mineral derived compounds mixed with pleasing fragrances to provide you with a relaxing yet invigorating experience.  Next up our winner will be treated to a Deluxe Spa Manicure where she’ll get to enjoy an almond cuticle treatment, sugar scrub and warm paraffin dip.  A perfect way to help hands that have been drying out in these cooler months.

Indigo

To round out the pampering portion of her day, our winner will be at Indigo Salon.  Indigo is located on Battery Street but overlooks beautiful Lake Champlain.  It has to be the most incredible and relaxing view at any salon in all of Burlington.  I love Indigo for several different reasons.  They are professional, prompt and friendly.  They also make sure their stylists are well educated and follow the latest styles and trends to bring you the exact hairstyle you want.  From the receptionist greeting you at the door, to your stylist, to management, everyone has a smile.  They are a one-stop shop, they kind of do it all.  Haircuts, color, hair removal, lash tinting, and makeup are just a few of the services they provide.  I could go on and on but what you really want to know is what they’re offering our winner.  Indigo Salon will be doing a haircut, color and makeup application for our winner.

And what’s a makeover without some “after” photos?  We’re sending Stephanie Keesler of Stephanie Keesler Photography to snap some pics of our winner’s new look.  We’ve had the pleasure of working with Stephanie before (you can check out a review of her work here) and are so excited to have her participating in this edition of Mommy Makeover.  Check out her Facebook page here to see some of her fabulous work.

Our winner will then be able to take her new look and grab her spouse, significant other or friend and head out for a delicious dinner at Pizzeria Verita downtown! Located on St. Paul St, this stellar restaurant embodies the traditional techniques of an old world artisan product, Neapolitan pizza, infused with a more current, local vibe to produce a fresh and inspired product all while maintaining the integrity of a farm-to-table, eco-centered mission. Our winner will receive a gift certificate to enjoy a dinner for two!

If you’d like to enter here’s what you need to know.  You MUST be available for all services on Saturday, January 10th.  All of these appointments are pre-booked, so if you win your appointments will begin at 9:45am and end around 5pm with dinner to follow.  Otherwise, enter the giveaway below and good luck!

  2. i love reading all the posts and would love to have a day to myself. Having four children can get crazy and as every mother knows you tend to forget about your self!

  3. With a two year old and a 4 month old, finding time for myself is tricky. So winning this would be a great opportunity to focus on taking care of myself.

  4. i would probably cry if I won this! I am a stay at home mom of a 2 year old with another due in May! A makeover is JUST what I need!!!

  5. Being a mom, as most moms can relate, is literally the most challenging, yet humbling and rewarding job there is and I wouldn’t trade it for the world! Aside from being a mommy, I am also a wife and my husband likes it when I can walk away from mommy duty sometimes and be his women. However, who’s with me here and agrees that that particular duty tends to come later. Therefore, I would love to truly feel like a women and shine in the skin I am in. I would be honored to be chosen for this amazing giveaway but would be so excited for another deserving, hardworking mama as well! good luck ladies!

  6. I’d love to win! I’ve given up on my personal upkeep after having my 2.5year old and 1 year old sons! I could use a kick start!

  7. I would love a day of pampering, like most moms I’m lucky if I get to shower once in a while. I’m so desperate for some funky colors in my hair too!

  8. I’m currently wallowing in a low place and some pampering and a fresh haircut would do wonders for my mood. I haven’t gotten a good night sleep or me time in over 14 months and I could really use a time to focus on me.

  9. After recently having 2 surgeries on my foot and getting my 5 year old started with school and keeping her entertained while being in so much pain, I could really use a day of pampering!! Starting off 2015 feeling good sounds amazing!!!

  10. This sounds amazing. Good luck to all the ladies who entered…this mom could use the make over. 6 month old twins and a 2 yo don’t leave much time for pamperin mommy time!

  11. I have an almost 5yo daughter and just had twin boys in July. I feel like life happens so fast these days that I don’t have time for myself. It would be awesome to have a day for ME.

  12. What a great day of pampering! I would love this, our daughter is 19 months old and for most of this year my husband was gone for training with the Airguard.

  13. I am in desperate need for a makeover! I work full time with 2 kiddos and my youngest has some serious health issues which has sucked the life out of me! Please help me to lose the frumpy look and the ombré color of my hair because it’s been soooo long since it has had any TLC! I don’t even remember the last time it was cut and colored!

  14. because with a 16 month old I sometimes forget that I am a person too! Usually I have food in my hair and slobber on my clothes. If we do go out to eat I’m usually breaking my dinner up into pieces to feed my son and forgetting that, wait, this is my dinner
