With Mother’s Day right around the corner we thought it fitting that our next Mommy Makeover fall in line with the holiday.

I mean what mom doesn’t want to be pampered on the ONE day a year dedicated specifically to her?  So in true BVTMB fashion, we’ve got a serious line up of spa treatments.  Get ready ladies because here we go.

It all starts at 10am at Mini Spa VT.  If you haven’t been to Mini Spa VT yet…you should!  They are famous for their feet but they are so much more.  They are a full service spa offering everything from facials to waxing to massage and a lot in between.  There our winner will receive a facial from their REN skincare line.  REN’s philosophy can be summed up in 3 words: performance, purity and pleasure.  With groundbreaking product formulas, they use only 100% plant and mineral derived compounds mixed with pleasing fragrances to provide you with a relaxing yet invigorating experience.  Next up our winner will be treated to a Deluxe Spa Manicure where she’ll get to enjoy an almond cuticle treatment, sugar scrub and warm paraffin dip.  Perfect to refresh hands that are cracked and dry from the eternal winter that has been the last 6 months.

It’s just a hop, skip and a jump away up to Church Street where the next stop is Jivana Holistic Spa.  Jivana sits above Leunig’s in a space that promotes calm and peace the moment you walk through the doors.  And what Mom doesn’t need a little more of that in her life?  Jivana offers a wide array of ancient and European spa treatments designed to balance and cleanse the body while providing deep relaxation.  Here our winner will be treated to a therapeutic immersion wrap.  What’s that you ask?  Using a “European passive immersion flotation table”, your therapist will start your treatment with a dry brush body massage and finish with a luxurious application of organic shea butter.  What happens in between the beginning and the end sounds kind of like this….ahhhhhh!

After Jivana our winner will have just enough time to cross the street and grab a burrito from our favorite global burrito eatery…Boloco.  She’ll have to chow down because next on her makeover stop is…

For the final stretch of the day our winner will be at Indigo Salon.  Indigo is located on Battery Street but overlooks beautiful Lake Champlain.  It has to be the most incredible and relaxing view at any salon in all of Burlington.  I love Indigo for several different reasons.  They are professional, prompt and friendly.  They also make sure their stylists are well educated and follow the latest styles and trends to bring you the exact hairstyle you want.  From the receptionist greeting you at the door, to your stylist, to management, everyone has a smile.  They are a one-stop shop, they kind of do it all.  Haircuts, color, hair removal, lash tinting, and makeup are just a few of the services they provide.  I could go on and on but what you really want to know is what they’re offering our winner.  Indigo Salon will be doing a haircut, color and makeup application for our winner.

While at Indigo we’re going to send some paparazzi your way.  Johanna of J. Silverman Photography will be there taking some pictures of our winner’s transformation.  You’ll see more of her work in our wrap up post.

To end the evening our lucky mommy will be going out to dinner at Pizzeria Verita.  Pizzeria Verita joined the Burlington restaurant scene in 2012 and has received rave reviews.  They are giving a $50 gift card to our lucky momma.   Our winner will be sure to find something tasty on their menu to share with her date.
