In Conclusion
Both Jamie Lynn Spears and Britney had tumultuous childhoods with an alcoholic father and a mother with anger issues. Jamie Lynn was treated as an accessory in Britney’s life from birth. She does not seem to realize that she did not ever have a normal childhood or that most of her opportunities in entertainment were a result of her connection to Britney.
She was a child dealing with extremely adult issues and it’s likely her sister, who was nine years older than her, did not initially confide in her or lean on her for support. However, as she grew into a woman and mother, she seems to never have developed empathy for her sister and her sister’s situation or any self-awareness around everything that transpired in the first twenty or so years of her life.
