Reach for the Stars offers full-day and part-time care, with hours from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Care is provided for infants as young as six weeks through preschoolers of about five years of age. We also offer before and after school care for children up to age 12. A bus runs to & from Essex Town Schools for some of those students. In addition, a summer camp program is offered for children up to age 12. Siblings (up to age 12) of currently enrolled students may also take advantage of school holiday and vacation care.
We have currently achieved three stars in Vermont’s Step Ahead Recognition System (STARS) for childcare, early education, and school-age programs.
We believe a close relationship between parents and staff is necessary for us to provide the best possible care for your child. It is important that we have frequent discussions regarding your child’s adjustment and progress. Our objective is to create a comfortable, enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere while giving responsible supervision to your child with healthy, wholesome growth and educational experiences.
