BurlingtonVT Moms Blog’s 4th annual Bloom is in the books!
We all had such a fantastic evening full of all things happy, healthy, mom, baby, and family!
The BVTMB team was thrilled to share this special evening with newborns, new moms and moms-to-be, and families. The happiness and love were apparent on all the smiling faces! The weather was perfect and our sponsor, Shelburne Museum, was the ideal location for our event. They are delightful community partners and provided everything our families needed.

The day could not have been the success it was without our title sponsor: Allison Hicks Sleep Solutions Pediatric Sleep Consultant Labor & Post Partum Doula Care.
If ever there was a perfect fit, we found it! Allison was such a pleasure to work with, and provided fantastic information for our families in attendance. If your family or a family you know is struggling with bedtime issues, stressed about keeping a consistent sleep schedule or is looking for a licensed caring doula – Allison is a vital resource!
Another big thank you to our longtime sponsor who is always willing to support our community and promote good dental health: Timberlane Dental!
This year’s Bloom was a huge success nationwide with over 10,000 people attending Bloom across the U.S.! Our local Bloom was made possible with our presenting sponsors and our local businesses that have a wealth of knowledge and love for our local growing families. From Pelvic Health to Rachel Totten’s counseling for girls and women, to Kat’s Paws custom made sewn goodies, Bloom 2019 had a wonderful array of professionals to talk to and locally made items to purchase and enjoy!
The evening began with registration and receiving the – oh so popular – Bloom swag bag. Our swag is always a hit and this year’s bag did not disappoint! This year’s bag was filled with our, “Moms Go-To Favorites” in an adorable reusable bag. The search for what a mom/dad has to have on hand is never-ending and we were really excited to grab some of our favorites. We are also intentionally moving towards swag that is reusable and/or recyclable. Our growing families deserve this focus.
The vendor’s room was filled with fabulous local businesses which were all prepared with the best intentions to assist Vermont’s growing families. We cannot thank our vendors enough! They brought with them a true desire to assist, educate, enlighten, and often calm the nerves of so many new and expecting moms and families! Bringing home a new baby prompts endless questions and concerns – Bloom is designed to answer those questions and to build a community that promotes an honest, healthy place for Vermonters to learn and discuss the many questions growing families have.
Meet our vendors! Please click any link below to learn more about what these businesses have to offer. They all receive the BurlingtonVT Moms Blog seal of approval. We love supporting Vermont businesses, national businesses that focus on families, and anything mom-owned.

The night kept getting better! Everyone loves a raffle going to a wonderful, local cause! And we had more than 18 packages to be raffled! All proceeds from the raffle were donated to Lund Family Center!
Lund is a trusted and essential asset to our community, and we are always happy when we can give back.
Robin’s Nest Massage was so generous in offering a massage package for the raffle. Whether you’re in need of a licensed masseuse for your pregnancy or just want to find someone who will work with you to have a both deeply therapeutic and relaxing massage – Rebecca is the masseuse you for you!
Who doesn’t need a little help finding a sitter and making the entire process easier? Check out the new must-have family app to help make arranging babysitters easier! NANNO is terrific!
Another great raffle prize was from Pediped. BVTMB loves Pediped!
We have to thank our food sponsors for the evening: Jericho Cafe & Tavern (AKA; JCat), JP’s Restaurant & Deli, Healthy Living Market & Cafe, and City Market. JCat provided fresh, crispy veggies and hummus, JP’s gave us the most delicate and light cupcakes, Healthy Living outdid themselves with cheese platters featuring an incredible assortment of local cheeses, and City Market gave us gorgeous veggies with a delicious dip. Our snacks were as pretty as our venue!
So many people, businesses, BVTMB team members, and vital community resources together make Bloom the continued success that it is.
Please get in touch if you have any questions about this event – and, of course, always let us know if you have any questions about your growing family. We love helping our neighbors find the resource that best fits best their needs
