Claire: The show was good. Better than I was expecting based on the previous roles held by Jennifer Garner. I feel like you could see more of the action going on in the background than you could with the book.
Julie: I thought the show was really well done. I really liked seeing Sausalito and the houseboat community.

Julie: Reminds me a bit of Pieces of Her. I had a few big grievances with this book that I just couldn’t move passed.
Claire: I kept having flashbacks to Pieces of Her also!
Before you say which you liked better, did you read the book or listen to the audiobook… because it matters.
Claire: Listened. Narrated by Natalie Simpson. Not the same person who narrated the Bridgerton books. I feel like she gave the book the difference it needed compared to the Bridgerton books. Great narrator.
