Why We Made this Selection and Background Knowledge

Julie: A friend had been telling me to read it and after like a year I finally did and loved it and went down a Fleetwood Mac rabbit hole and was eagerly awaiting the release of the show

Claire: I knew the book was super big in the book world. I hadn’t read it yet because I didn’t want to ruin it for myself. Normally I’m not a fan of super popular books.

Before you say which you liked better, did you read the book or listen to the audiobook… because it matters.

Julie: All of the above.

Claire: Listen! Amazing cast. I love multicast audiobooks. Julia Whelan was in this one and she’s Amazing. She played a couple of different voices, but I won’t say who because I don’t want to ruin it.

Overall Opinion of the Book

Julie: One of my absolute favorites.

Claire: Loved it.

Overall Opinion of the Show

Julie: Honestly, loved it. I was so worried they’d mess it up but for the most part, I loved it. The only thing that was a little off for me was the music.

Claire: I enjoyed it. I’m not sure I would say I loved it, but it’s something I would definitely watch again, and I’m the kind of person who only has like three shows I’ll watch over and over.

Which was better?

Julie: The book

Claire: The book
