Family Movie Night @ Brownell Library (Essex)
Finding Neverland – A magical tale about one of the world’s greatest storytellers and the people who inspired his masterwork Peter Pan. Well-known playwright James M. Barrie finds his career at a crossroads when his latest play flops and doubters question his future. Then by chance he meets a widow and her four adventurous boys. Kid’s Day @ Williston Central School
Enjoy a full day of indoor fun with your kids. Activities include:
- Arts and crafts
- VT Voltage Soccer Clinics
- Basketball
- Dress-up
- Facepainting
- Musical theatre, Fairy Tale Dance, & Hip Hop Work Shops
- Calliope the Clown with balloons and bubbles
- Bouncy Castles
- Photo Booth
Each attendee gets a free slice of pizza from Ramunto’s Brick Oven Pizza, while supplies last.
Cost: Free – suggested $1 donation per person to benefit the Williston Community Food Shelf.

Burlington Irish Heritage Festival
The Burlington Irish Heritage Festival is a week long celebration packed with activities, both fun-filled and informative, which celebrate Irish-American culture and community.
Saturday has several family highlights held at the Fletcher Room in the Fletcher Free Library including:
- Celtic Kids Crafts: 10 am to Noon in
- Irish Instrument Petting Zoo: 10 am to 11 am and Noon to 1 pm i
- Music and Tales from Ireland with Hilari Farrinton and Benedict Koehler: 11 am to Noo

Teddy Bear Teaparty @ Gardner Supply
Bring your favorite teddy bear and have a tea party in the conservatory! Can you say Epyphylum? Wow, that’s an unusual word! Learn all about air plants and orchids. Kids will take a green house tour and you will be able to take an air plant home

Middletown Springs Maple Festival
The Middletown springs Historical Society holds it’s annual Maple Festival on the Green and indoors. This event will feature:
- Early maple sugarmaking in a cast iron kettle over an open wood fire.
- A Talk on the evolution of sugaring technique using examples from the Historical Society collection.
- Delicious maple desserts created by Society members, maple products and crafts, and syrup will be available for sale.
- Old fashioned sugar on snow & maple cotton candy are always favorites.
- Videos about Vermont Maple Sugaring.
- Maple Sap buckets decorated by local artists will be raffled at the end of the afternoon.
- A Raffle with over 50 prizes including cash prizes, maple gift baskets, maple syrup, maple products, craft items & gift certificates from local businesses
- A silent auction will be held featuring crafts, merchant donations & services.
- Acoustic music & Kid’s activities
