Addison County Fair and Field Days

This 5 Day fair covers family fun for all generations. Enjoy the opening day parade, traditional carnival rides, good food, 4-H and open class animal shows, plus demo derbies, tractor pulling, live bands, the children’s barnyard, kids activities, special demonstrations, and of course, the many, many exhibits.

Downtown and Church Street Marketplace Annual Sidewalk Sale

One of Burlington’s great traditions, the Downtown and Church Street Marketplace Annual Sidewalk Sale. Starting as early as 8 a.m., more than 100 merchants display their wares both in front of and inside their stores. Great bargains abound and friends, neighbors and visitors to our region fill the Marketplace from dawn to dusk. Some merchants extend their sales through the weekend.

Lake Champlain Maritime Festival

The Lake Champlain Maritime Festival has been named a Top 100 North American Event by the American Bus Association and a Top Ten Vermont Summer Event by the Vermont Chamber of Commerce. Daily admission is free to most events with select events requiring admission. The Festival is a four-day celebration of Lake Champlain, showcasing hundreds of exhibits throughout sites on the Burlington Waterfront (Burlington Boathouse, Perkins Pier, Spirit of Ethan Allen, Lake Champlain Ferries, Northern Lights Lake Champlain Cruises, US Coast Guard, Lake Champlain Community Sailing Center, ECHO Leahy Center, Burlington’s Waterfront Park and more). This year, enjoy local music, nightly concerts, Stand Up For The Lake, Antique Boat Show and Parade, Waterfront Exhibits, International Food Court, Vendors, Health and Wellness Corner and more!
