Caledonia County Fair

Enjoy the oldest fair in Vermont, which includes country music, magic and balloon shows, food, games, ox pulling, horse show, demo derby, children’s activities, midway, antique tractor pull, maple, poultry and rabbit exhibits and more.  Exhibits include:

Vergennes Day

Friday August 23: Family oriented street dance. Music by the Hitmen. Snacks will be available. Admission-Donations accepted.

Saturday August 24: 7 am to 4 pm at Vergennes City Park plus three other venues.

Family fun: Pancake breakfast, Little City 5K Walk & 10K Race, 80 plus crafters & vendors, wagon rides, bandstand music, chicken BBQ, children’s venues, face painting, car show. Looking for car show participants @ VUHS 10-3 pm, Rubber Duckie Race, RC airplanes, engines. Free Bet-Cha Transit shuttle to venues.

Cost: Saturday Pancake Breakfast (adults $8, children under 12 – $6, under 6 free)

Zoe’s 1K and 5K Race

Zoe’s Race is a fun run for kids of all ages and abilities. The 1K is a loop around Oakledge Park that kids can run holding their mom or dad’s hand as they run around the loop in the park.

Every finisher of the 1K receives a Zoe’s Race medal and there will be entertainment as well. Food is included such as bagels, bananas, oranges, fresh grilled corn, Ben and Jerry’s ice cream and Boloco burritos- all included in the price of the 1 and 5K.

Come and enjoy a beautiful opportunity to run outside along the lake and enjoy all the beauty that Vermont has to offer while supporting a great cause. You can register online or come early the morning of the race.
