We had an absolutely fabulous time at our Second Moms Night Out with Snowflake Chocolates a few weeks ago!

Snowflake Chocolates  based in Jericho, with a second location in South Burlington, opened their South Burlington store for a SECOND time after hours just for us! Every piece of chocolate at Snowflake Chocolates is handcrafted from family recipes in small batches, coated in the yummiest milk and dark chocolates.

Sharon and Shelly (sisters and third generation chocolatiers) were fabulous hostesses. Sharon sharing the history of Snowflake Chocolates was a highlight, while Shelly let us try the goods! The business is owned and run by 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation chocolatiers. Snowflake Chocolates prides themselves in producing a quality product at an affordable price, which as moms we know is really important. Where else could you get 25 truffles (that are truly yummy) for under $25?!

We enjoyed delicious chocolates, wine, yummy food, giveaways, and some amazing company!

Snowflake Chocolates spoiled us with their samples (think whole caramels and truffles), a 10% discount to shop that night, a chocolate snowflake for everyone who made a purchase, and a coupon to come back. Because it was Tara, Tasha and Josilyn’s ONE YEAR anniversary of buying BVTMB everyone also went home with a BVTMB t-shirt and reusable shopping bag!

A huge thank you to our Giveaway Sponsors: LuLaRoe Erica Facteau, La Bella Derma, EarthySoul and of course Snowflake Chocolates … we had some excited raffle winners!

Be sure to check out Snowflake Chocolates in either their Jericho or South Burlington locations for yourself. While you are there pick up a couple last minute gifts for the holidays. I would recommend the mixed boxes of chocolates or truffles. Think teachers gifts or to bring something extra special to a family member’s house for a holiday party or meal. You can thank me later!

I became a Vermont transplant ten years ago after meeting and falling madly in love with my husband, Jason, a South Burlington native at the University of New Hampshire. My education and training are in social work and although I left that career behind (at least for now) after my first child was born in 2014 my passion continues to be children, families, and the desire to connect moms to one another through building community. Fast forward to the present and my days are filled with parenting and chasing after two amazing and bright children, Caroline and Augie, and one fur baby, Copper, while trying to keep our home having some semblance of order. I am also an elected member of our local School Board.
