Friday, March 4: 7-9 pm
BoysWork: Men in the Making
Lake Champlain Waldorf High School Campus – 122 Bostwick Road, Shelburne
In his Friday evening presentation, Ted Braude will discuss our cultural expectations for boys across all age spans. Boys need new contexts so they can mature into the young men they were born to become. Braude will offer a fresh perspective that alleviates conflicts and improves relationships — transforming the lives of boys, young men, parents, and educators alike. Snacks will be available for purchase.
Saturday, March 5, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm
How Boys Become Men: Supporting the Journey
Lake Champlain Waldorf Pre-K through 8the Grade Campus – 359 Turtle Lane, Shelburne
Saturday’s workshop will include an examination of boys, tots through teens, and the role that parents and educators can play in helping boys bring out the best in themselves. Boys don’t automatically become the confident and compassionate men we want them to be. Ted will bring practical ideas and practices that parents and educators can use at home and at school to help boys reach their greatest potential. We will provide a complimentary snack and then have a question and answer session. Bring your questions, concerns, thoughts, and issues about the boys in your lives for an informative, in-depth, let’s-get-to-the-bottom-of-things session with Ted Braude.
