I love donuts. Really, my whole family loves donuts. Biting into a donut causes nostalgia to rise up within me as I remember morning runs to the donut shop with my parents. But really, who doesn’t love a good donut? And if you love a good donut, you will love Green Mountain Mini Baked.

Green Mountain Mini Baked

I first ran across Green Mountain Mini Baked on a local blog called Try Vermont First. I was salivating over the serious eye candy that were her donuts and put it on a list of places to try soon. A few weeks ago I was reminded of these delicious donuts and I contacted Debbie to see if she might be willing to let me sample some for the blog. A week or so later, I had a sample box of donuts waiting on my doorstep!

Green Mountain Baked is a fully licensed bakery in the state of Vermont that uses local, Vermont ingredients. Debbie specializes in making mini donuts in a multitude of flavors; from apple pie to bubble gum! All of her donuts are baked, not fried, and if stored properly, can last up to a week.

Debbie is a stay at home mom who decided to start a business doing what she loves; baking!

Debbie’s donuts are not only delicious, but they are individual works of art. They are almost too pretty to eat. Almost.

My husband and I dove into the super difficult task of taste testing these donuts (it’s a tough job, but someone has to do it) and there was not one bite that we didn’t thoroughly enjoy. They were all so delicious, but here were our personal favorites…

My husband’s pick: The Apple Pie donut. My husband raved about this one, and this was my second pick. It was beautiful to look at, and it literally felt like you were biting into a slice of apple pie with ice cream on top. Delicious!

My pick: The Fudge Brownie donut. So. Good. Tastes exactly like the name says…a delicious fudge brownie.

While we got to try a sample box, there are so many more flavors that I am dying to try! Check out some of these delicious creations! Cookie Dough, Oreo, Nutella, Rootbeer float…yum!

  1. That rootbeet float one with the piroline (spelling?) cookie sticking out of it is calling out to me….although apple pie sounds delicious too!

  2. There are so many flavors that looks amazing! I would love to try them all! I can’t decide which I’m most excited about: mimosa, carrot cake, chocolate covered strawberry, etc.

  3. That apple pie donut looks amazing! I was recently lamenting the fact that there are no real donut shops anymore. Good to know they can be ordered at least!
