Discovery Strings is a new day camp for young string players entering grades 1 – 5 with one year of playing experience, and offers chamber orchestra experience in a camp setting. This half-day camp includes ensemble rehearsals, sectional coachings, and fun camp activities at the beautiful Elley-Long Music Center, home of the Vermont Youth Orchestra Association. The week culminates with a lunchtime concert for families and friends. Camp runs August 3-7, 2015 from 8:30 am to noon; tuition is $175 and financial aid is available.
