Haunted Forest
The Haunted Forest takes place every October on the grounds of the Catamount Outdoor Family Center. The Haunted Forest is Vermont’s longest running and most popular Halloween event. Deep in the woods of the Catamount Family Center. Their dark paths are lit up by 1,000 flickering Jack-O’-Lanterns. Visitors encounter strange, fascinating, and hair-raising with their characters as they perform a one of a kind original skit; written each and every year! You won’t be disappointed as you wander through and you’ll be sure to screech and enjoy samples of creepy treats, play games and come face to face with some of the freakiest folks in town! Something new to try this year is a walk through the Vortex Tunnel…if you dare!

Fall Pumpkin Fest @ Maple Street Park
EJRP has teamed up with 5 Corners Farmers’ Market to bring you a fun fall festival! There will be food vendors selling the favorite foods that you have enjoyed at the Farmers Market, music, fun pumpkin crafts, story telling by the bonfire, and a pumpkin lighting ceremony at 6 PM.
So be sure to bring your carved pumpkin to take part in this fun event. (They do ask that if you bring a carved pumpkin, you put your name on it and leave it at the display until 7PM when you can take it home.)

4th Annual Bounce Fest
The 4th Annual Bounce Fest is put on by Bounce Around VT! This event is on Saturday, October 25 at the University Mall from 11 am to 3pm. They will have 2 bounce houses and 25 foot long slide and other activities set up in the seating area in front of Sears.
Cost: $7 for all you can bounce. An adult must stay present at all times.

Spooky Saturday!
Join Vermont PBS and Peg + Cat for a family-friendly Halloween party for kids grade 5 and under! Come in costume, perhaps as your favorite PBS character. Enjoy the balloon animals, games, snacks, a costume parade and more.
Two Sessions: On-line Registration Required 10:00 am – 11:30 am 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm

Haunted Happenings @ Shelburne Museum
Marvelous Masterpieces. Don your favorite costume inspired by a famous artist, art object, or masterpiece. See recreations of your favorite paintings and “meet” artists featured at Shelburne Museum or in other museum’s around the world. Trick-or-Treating on the Museum Grounds.
Please help them make their event more environmentally friendly by bringing a reusable bag for trick-or-treating.
