We were recently invited to the Hilton Burlington for a fun night out, a stay overnight, and a lunch at their restaurant, The Mounted Cat. What a nice time we had! Let me tell you all about it.
We celebrated the Hilton Burlington’s 40th Birthday with a fun 70’s themed party. We dressed in our best 70’s outfits, looking pretty good if I do say so myself! The whole night was 70’s from the decor to the food. We enjoyed putting Bugles on our fingers, eating the heck out of some Ding Dongs, and even dining on fluffer nutter sandwiches! It was like living our childhoods all over again!
After the party we enjoyed a night at the Hilton Burlington. It was a girl’s night done right! No kids, comfy beds with enough pillows to drown ourselves in, and plenty of girl talk. The rooms were just beautiful. We couldn’t get over the views, the cozy beds, and the friendly staff. What makes a night away even better? Noon checkout the next day! What an amazing perk that was!
The next day, after oohing and aahing over the view again (seriously, ask for a lake view room!), we enjoyed breakfast at the Hilton Burlington’s amazing breakfast buffet and then spent some time in the heated pool!
We loved how many food options there were right on site at the Hilton Burlington. In addition to the amazing breakfast, you can order Room Service, enjoy some tasty drinks and apps at the bar, and our favorite, delicious choices from The Mounted Cat! We attended lunch where Chef Jones gave us a tasting of their newest menu which is a delicious a play on street fare food. If you are ever looking for somewhere local to hang out in a beautiful but relaxed atmosphere while enjoying some drinks and apps, The Mounted Cat is your place!
We loved our Girl’s Night away at the Hilton Burlington, but also very impressed at how great it would be a family stay as well! If you are local, looking for a place for the perfect Vermont staycation, or if you are coming to Burlington for a visit, we highly recommend the Hilton Burlington!
