Omni Dallas Hotel: Family Getaway and Giveaway!

Last October, we joined over 60 women from around the country at the Omni Dallas for our annual City Moms Blog Network Sister Site Conference. It was a truly lovely time away connecting with our fellow sister site owners, learning about how to grow our businesses together, and enjoying the beautiful city of Dallas. We stayed at the Omni Dallas and wanted to share about our stay there, as well as tell you about the fun opportunity you have to enter to win a stay yourself!

The Staff

It’s no surprise that the Omni is Ranked “Highest in Guest Satisfaction Among Upper Upscale Hotel Chains.” The staff was friendly and responsive, just what you are looking for when traveling. Upon arrival, there was a tray of treats in our room and a lovely welcoming note from the Omni Staff. Such a nice touch!

The Rooms

Just about everyone in our group posted a picture of the view from their hotel room. The floor to ceiling windows with stunning views were just begging for it; and seeing the sunshine streaming in those big windows in October did wonders for these Vermont girls! Everything was clean and well put together. The rooms were really lovely. Oh! And the bathroom mirror had a tv in it! We were enthralled and knew that our kids would have found that highly entertaining had they been there!

The Food

Boasting nine dining experiences, the Omni isn’t short on delicious food. Enjoy a light breakfast at Morsel’s, an elegant dinner at Bob’s Steak & Chop House, an authentic farm-to-table meal at Texas Spice, and cold drinks while catching the latest sports game at The Owners Box. The newest restaurants opening this spring across from the hotel on Lemar street feature a little something for everyone – sushi, pizza, Mexican, and a German-style beer garden. And we can’t forget to mention yummy chocolate chip cookies for kids, delivered to your room on your first night at the hotel!

The Location

Perfectly situated right in the heart of downtown Dallas, the Omni Dallas is just a short walk or bus ride to all the area’s hottest attractions, including the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas World Aquarium, Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Klyde Warren Park, and the American Airlines Center, as well as lots of shopping. We enjoyed some Pure Barre action on the front lawn before the sun came up and it was really beautiful with all the lights of the city surrounding us!

Omni is also known for being incredibly family-friendly. When you visit as a family, upon check-in your kids are treated with a backpack filled to the brim with games and snacks.
