Celebrate Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10, at Shelburne Museum!

Mom's Day Out SM

Family art activities and events will be ongoing from noon to 4 p.m. Every year hundreds of families join the fun on the grounds and in the gardens, with art and magical activities including: a doll tea party, guided walks, crafts, live music and more. Discover, learn and grow at Shelburne Museum.

“It’s wonderful to welcome back spring and families as we mark the opening of another Shelburne Museum summer season with programming, and a celebration of moms,” said Shelburne Museum’s Director of Education & Public Programs Karen Petersen.

Landscape and Gardens Manager Jess Gallas reports that “flowers have always bloomed between May 13 and 18.” So we hold out hope that the Museum’s lovely apple blossoms and 400 lilac bushes in 90 varieties will ‘agree’ to be in bloom in time for this special day.
