What an amazing first annual BVTMB Family Fun Day! When we first started planning this event we were so excited for the opportunity to be able to meet some of our readers and their families. As we continued to plan and scheme, we were thrilled to have the support of so many great local businesses as sponsors, providing entertainment and yummy food, and offering up amazing giveaways! We could not have pulled off this event without all of them and without YOU, our amazing readers!

This years Family Fun Day was at the beautiful Oakledge Park. We loved being right by the playground and close to the beach access! It was the perfect spot for a fun day.

We love these two local businesses and could not have pulled off this event without them. Creative Habitat was there all day making sun visors with the kiddos and Kids City donated some AMAZING giveaways including a $100 gift card and 2 Melissa and Doug giveaway baskets that were the hit of the raffle table! Thank you to Leonardo’s Pizza and Boloco for providing us with some delicious pizza and burritos! Leonardo’s truly has something for everyone with their delicious pizza creations. And be sure to check out Boloco’s great kid’s menu and head there on Tuesdays this fall for their Kid’s Eat Free night!
Another huge thank you to Time Out for Whoopie, The Little Purple Cake Shoppe, and Green Mountain Mini Baked for sharing their yummy treats with all of us! We were thrilled to have so many great businesses and people partner with us to bring some fun to Family Fun Day!
Mike from The Big Blue Trunk joined us for part of the morning and was a huge hit with his cannons and balloon animals! We can’t recommend Mike enough so be sure to contact him for your next birthday party or event.
We also had Mr. Chris from Mister Chris and Friends there to play some music for the little ones. We, as a blog family, love Mr. Chris (and so do our kiddos) and you can find him during the summer playing on Friday nights at his farm, Bread and Butter Farm, during their delicious burger nights! You can also find him throughout the year at different places like Buttered Noodles and the library. Be sure to keep up with his schedule at his new website or via facebook.
Jane, the bubble lady, joined us from ECHO Lake and Aquarium and brought loads of bubble fun!
Bounce Around VT provided a bounce house for hours of fun! Looking for a bounce house for your next party or event? They have something to meet every need, and they deliver, set it up, and take it down when you are done! They currently serve the Burlington, St. Albans, Montpelier, and Rutland areas.
Creative Habitat had a table where the kiddos could make some awesome sun visors, and Boloco had some great face painting!
