I’m a recent transplant to the beautiful Champlain Valley. A bona fide member of GRITS (Girls Raised In The South – Savannah, GA to be exact), my family and I have spent the last year exploring Vermont, and I can honestly say it is my new favorite state! I’m a long way from my former corporate life as a Sales Manager for a Fortune 500 company. Don’t get me wrong – I didn’t lose my management duties. My hours just increased from 50 hour weeks to 24/7 balancing between family and growing my own small business development consulting firm! I happily keep these crazy, working hours for my two wonderful children, a 12 year old boy and a 9 year old girl, and some of the small business clients I have here in Vermont.
